The Advent season is slowly coming to an end and giving way to Christmas. In our school, every Monday for the past few weeks we have had a candle lighting ceremony, each Monday lighting the candle of faith, hope, joy and love on a different class's Advent wreath. As well as appearances, we also tried to dress our souls in festive clothes, with great help from the Franciscan priests Asztric and Hugo from Csíksomlyó, whom we thank for their kind words of encouragement, which made our preparations for the feast even more complete.
Many pupils responded to our appeal to collect non-perishable food for the needy. We collected many donations, so we were able to distribute a lot of food to families in Miercurea Ciuc and its surroundings. We thank them very much on their behalf.
We also thank their students and teachers who made our celebrations more colourful with Christmas songs in Romanian and German. At the end of the last holiday, we all had the opportunity to join in singing Christmas carols. And because Christmas is the time for presents, our school offered the pupils a small celebration of love, with a nice atmosphere of bread and butter and tea in the schoolyard.
We wish all our students, their families and partner companies a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year!
