On 30 September 2022, the Development Agency of Harghita County came to the second stage of this year's class teacher visits, which were held with the main actors of the students of the Székely Károly Vocational Secondary School, class XII, specializing in computer management and mechatronics.
Árpád Cilip, director of the Development Agency of Harghita County, presented the programmes of the institution he heads and its activities to promote vocational education. He spoke about the benefits of studying a profession, while also discussing the issue of working and settling abroad. His main message is that even if young people want to try their luck abroad, they should use the experience they have gained there at home.
Csaba Borboly, President of the Harghita County Council, addressed words of encouragement to the young people. He stressed the importance of their dreams, but also of the professions they are learning. He encouraged them to be flexible, to be open and to use their skills.
Beáta Kelemen, Programme Officer of the Agency for Vocational Education, presented the activities of the Harghita County Council for the benefit of young people, as well as the results of surveys.
Ervin Márk, computer operator, gave a message to young people to practice as much as possible, even taking apart an old computer or phone and putting it back together, so they can improve in their profession. The need for this knowledge is also growing in public institutions.
Computer Trade's Csongor Albert, a former pupil of the school, gave a frank account of his career leading up to this point. It was a long process to get here, he always loved what he did and it paid off.
